There is a lot going on out there, which can make anyone feel worried and drained. Fortunately, you can find respite from this wild world as you focus on your inner peace via the art of mandala making.
Lesson 1: Discover your Symbols of Joy (pre-mandala activity)
Supplies: Pocket folder, blank sheets (printing paper is fine), HB graphite pencil, colored pencils, paper clips.
1. Joy is at the center of your being, your heart, and your mandala.
2. What makes you happy?
3. Using a pencil, write 4 to 5 things and draw a symbol next to each word.
4. Then, draw each symbol on a separate page.
5. Use your favorite colors.
6. Take your time. We all have a different pace...
7. Attach all your drawings with a paper clip. They will be a good reference when you create your first mandala during the second lesson.
8. Write the date at the bottom of each page.
